Service Description

SCHEDULE: AGES 3 - 7 8:30am - 9:30am AGES 8 - 12 9:30am - 10:30am Join us for our boys and girls soccer practice at the We are here to have mindful, exciting fun at Community Choice. Here we know that children LEARN best by PLAYING. So our emphasis to teach even high level concepts are all based on creative games that a child will understand. "Bounce the ball with the inside of your feet" is a much harder concept to understand to a child rather than "Let's put our penguin egg between our legs, and walk like penguins" and trust us, the latter is more fun! We teach hard concepts like field positioning with simple games in which the child develops a high level intuition of the game of soccer. What to expect: Soccer Skill Development: The players are taught the fundamentals of passing, shooting and dribbling through a variety of fun games. Each session adapts to the skill-levels of the players allowing for growth at different paces at a non-competitive atmosphere, even if high level concepts to skilled players are being taught. Mindful Coaching: The best athletes in the world understand the power of a calm mind. Our coaches always begin with some skill that we will develop through the practice like a breath-box exercise, or an inspiring story, or a visualization. This creates anxiety-free children who are focused on having fun, and because of it they improve faster too. Holistic Healing: We as humans heal when we laugh, when we play, when we breathe calmly and especially when we are with community. We are here to create a more vibrant, localized and caring community. we cannot empathize enough we are here to laugh and have fun, and get really good at soccer too. Bilingue: La gran mayoria de nuestros coaches es gente latina local, lo cual nos permite ofrecer el programa de una manera bilingue. How are we different? Our goal is a happy child. That's why we like playing soccer, and that is also why we incorporate mindfulness in every program we offer. The way this looks is teaching children how to emotionally regulate with breathing, visualization and meditation exercises. This is what top-athletes do because they understand their health holistically. A good athlete is like a happy child, they play often, they are emotionally resilient, they eat well and sleep well. Come and see it for yourself, you will see in your child the change that these new skills will bring them. We are here to build community. FIRST CLASS IS FREE!
