  • Our programs are tailored to each cohort through: community feedback, education research, mindfulness techniques, local democratic context of needs

Maya

Co-Founder & Arts Lead

A professional theater actress with a passion for teaching, Maya has worked extensively with children in dance, theater, and singing. Her background in Montessori education informs her nurturing and student-centered methods.

She can be found performing at your local theater, at the park enjoying a book and the sun, or finding and tailoring thrifted clothes.

Sebastian

Co-Founder & Sports Lead 

With over ten years experience in children’s soccer and a background in thinking about the good life, Sebastian uses his experience and research to share fun, healthy and creative activities. His main goal is to unveil individuality through a deep ecology lens.

He can be found swimming in the ocean, learning at research conferences, music events; if he isn't out exploring new places.

Shaine

Co-Founder & Researcher

An insatiable learner, Shaine brings his curiosity and zest for life to every table he occupies. His diverse background includes several years working as a substitute K-12 teacher, operating community spaces, organizing events, and serving as a ubnion steward. He has cultivated a decades-long love and knowledge of sports and the creative arts.

 

He can be found at poetry readings, on long hikes, or anywhere spirited conversations take place.
