The Good Life - el buen vivir

Here at Community Choice we hold two beliefs simultaneously that may seem to contradict themselves.

1. We should seriously consider what is most important to have for the good life

2. To take anything too seriously is not to take the good life seriously at all

That is why our emphasis is on community building, in educating through games & art, and healing through mindfulness & delicious plant-based food. These things are not only very fun, but crucial once we understand that our current systems are not aligned with our ecosystems. â€‹â€‹

Our body, our spirit and our mind are all part of one. Some traditions may even understand our interdepednece tp mean that

We know that life systems are very complex, and that our priorities may shift with circumstance. So we like to think across disciplines like neuropsychology, ecology, geopolitics, economics, psychology, sports science and many others. This is why we are a group, because each brings their knowledge, and also why we ask for community input. We also know we are an interdependent system, that

As we best understand it as of know is like Berkana's Institute Two Loop Model below, that states that the complexity of life systems is so ingrained within them that reform is not an option, we need to start building the alternatives now. Especially as it comes to our food systems Also our current research points to animal agriculture as being the top emitter of yearly green house gases (Sailesh Rao) (GHG), hence our emphasis in plant-based diets that are a necessary precursor for a clean energy transition. We know that GHG are heating the planet, but in the first years they are burnt they also create a refrigeration effect (Hansen), if we had a magic wand to transition to renewables right now, we would burn the planet to (@X Degrees) if we have no forests to store that excess carbon dioxide that GHG are emitting yearly.
